Powerhouse Physiques focuses on Personal Training, Workout Consultations, and creating Healthy Diet regimens. As a certified personal trainer, Anowa created Powerhouse Physiquesin the effort of sharing her unique beneficial workout techniques with the rest of the world. Besides working with women and men seeking toned-healthier bodies, Anowa has expanded her service to training former athletes back into competitive condition, in addition to training individuals with orthopedic issues as a result of personal injuries or disease. Anowa also understands the importance of developing the mind as well as the body. As a motivational speaker, Anowa utilizes inspiration and encouragement to push her clients towards their desired goal. In addition to creating a successful Exercise and Diet regimen, Anowa focuses on improving Flexibility to prevent injuries and improve the body’s range of motion.
In Home Training- In specific circumstances, Anowa is available to travel to clientele’s home for personal training sessions. Anowa will provide equipment and nutritional counseling. Anowa and all entities associated with Powerhouse Physiques is fully insured!
Sports Specific Training - Through athletic experience and her detailed knowledge of sports , Anowa understands the importance of catering workouts to specific sport demands. Anowa focuses on building the strength and explosion of specific muscle groups to improve power, speed, and agility. Anowa’s combination of plyometrics, speed drills, movement patterns and weight-lifting exercises produce positive results.
Pre-Natal/Post Pregnancy Workouts - Anowa focuses on a blend of Yoga, Core, and strength-building techniques which help mothers-to-be decrease stress levels and potential delivery issues. Anowa understands the problems pregnancy can create towards the core and lower back, and works towards strengthening the area to help improve posture and decrease discomfort. In addition to exercise, Anowa shares healthier but beneficial food regimens, which still adhere to the increased daily calorie count during pregnancy. Anowa is aware Pregnancy can be a beautiful yet stressful period for many women. In essence, Anowa focuses on creating a unique stress-free yet beneficial environment for mothers-to-be.
Children - With America’s increasing epidemic of Childhood Obesity, Anowa has expanded her personal training entity to focus on tackling weight issues in teenagers and young children. As a former star Athlete and competitor, Anowa utilizes sport activities and basic physical fitness to shed pounds and improve Health. In addition to training children, Anowa incorporates parents in the lifestyle change to better improve the child’s likelihood of success.
Men – Sex is not a factor in a POWERHOUSE workout! Anowa focuses on strength-building exercises in addition to circuit and interval training. While there are men that are either looking to bulk, lose weight, or both, Anowa creates specific workouts to cater to specific client demands.
